Emerging from Tibet and further branching from Sun Kosi, Bhote Kosi River remains a favourite for its fast-paced adventure and thrills of river rafting. The Bhote Koshi River Rafting is one of the recently opened rafting rivers and represents the forefront of river rafting, which is just three hours awayfrom Kathmandu. Bhote Koshi river is the main branch of the Sun Koshi river. Bhote Koshi river is the steepest river rafted in Nepal, technically and totally committing, with a gradient of 80 feet per mile and is fully eight times steeper then Sunkoshi, which it feeds further downstream. Bhote Kosi river is an ideal raft for those looking for a short white water voyage. Best time for rafting along this river is from October to December and From February to April.

Bhote Koshi River Rafting is a challenging and enthralling water trip which gives the rafter an experience of rafting in white water. The Bhote Koshi has it all, thrilling action and breathtaking scenery from thrilling drops, deep gorges and amazing lime stone formations. This, Bhote Koshi raft trip allows us to take in the stunning beauty of the areas as well as take part in other activities at the last resort like canyoning, mountain bike riding and of course the Bungee Jump. Detail Itinerary

  • Day 01:We take a trip to 95 km. east from Kathmandu is the starting point Lomosangu- Dam of the trip. This is a spectacular drive through villages and if weather permits, you will have fantastic mountain views i.e. Ganesh Himal, Langtang etc, we raft the first 10 km of the MOST exciting stretch of the river and then return to the start to play again the same stretch the next day rather than continue with only half a day paddling to the end. Drives back to our camp.
  • Day 02:After breakfast a quick pack up and set out (approx. 9 to 10 a.m.) run white water hit again a class 3 rapid starting from upper section. You have the second chance to show how your raft team can work well together in challenging rapids. We have lunch on the river and continue the action until the take out point Dolalghat Bazaar about 2 to 3 p.m. and bus back to Kathmandu. Our trip is over here.
